AMA Board of Directors
As the world’s largest non-profit, member-based motorcycle association, the AMA has both an obligation and a responsibility to advocate for its members’ collective interests and to promote and protect motorcycling.
A large part of this responsibility is carried by the AMA Board of Directors, a group of elected representatives who work to advance the mission and the goals of the organization overall.
The AMA Board of Directors numbers 12 members. Six are elected from the individual membership and four are elected from the business membership. The 10 elected members additionally appoint two at-large members, who are ratified by AMA membership at the annual member meeting. A diversity of experience and expertise is the goal, pulling board members from the motorcycling industry, AMA-chartered clubs, general membership and the entire motorcycle community, all committed to carrying out the AMA mission of protecting and promoting motorcycling in America.
